Matheo Techer is a musician and composer from Reunion Island (France). Born into a family of accomplished musicians, he began playing drums at the age of three and went on to study at the Regional Conservatory before graduating from Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) in 2018.

As a performer, Matheo has collaborated with artists across genres and toured internationally, working with jazz legends as well as contemporary voices. His versatility has led him to to collaborations with names such as MARO, Naika and Nasaya, to residencies like Quincy Jones’ Q’s Bar & Lounge in Dubai.

In addition to his work as a drummer, Matheo has built a growing career in composition for screen. His music has been featured in series, documentaries, and films on major platforms including Peacock, Netflix, Canal+ among others. He has also written and arranged for the Symphonic Orchestra of La Reunion, with works performed to sold-out audiences in renowned venues.
